Toxi looked to Storm in surprise. "Really? So you know how it is? You know how bad it is and how much it hurts?" Her breathing picked and she felt like howling. But she calmed herself and wanted Storm to continue. "One day...what?"
storm was silent for almost 5 minutes but finally continued ''well she was worse than most so-..'' she looked like she was about to run off but stayed still only flinching at memories and barely breathing ''one day my whole family were put in one cage with her...'' she stopped she was now shaking slightly ''she ended up attacking my mother and father first..'' she paused staring at the entrance ''they died.. then- then-..'' she flicked her tail sadly ''we were the same age and all and we were no even adults but something was wrong with her'' she said this her gaze not actually looking at anything ''well then she attacked our younger sister.. she was just a pup.. i-'' she paused reliving the trauma
Toxi felt her heart swell with sorrow, but also with anger because of the condition she and Storms sister had. "It's okay...you don't have to continue. I now it hurts and is traumatizing...I've been on both sides of the story." She leaned a bit closer again and layed her head on Storms back.
storm flicked her ear ''its fine i should tell someone '' she chuckled more sad than happy she stayed silent for a few seconds ''well when she attacked her- i- i had no choice- so..'' she shook her head ''i leaped at her.. and we hit a small tree and got tangled in brush and the whole time she was yelling at me..'' she paused took a deep breath then continued ''i leaped away and stood infront of my younger sister...'' she paused ''then she lunged at me i turned and grabbed her neck-..'' her eyes flickered with something sadness? anger maybe even regret? ''and just like that she was gone...'' she just sat there silently thinking
Toxi listened to Storm talk then grew quiet with her. "Well I guess since we're on the topic I could share a bit with you." She paused, now she too was staring off into the darkness. "I was born into a litter with three brothers and a sister. My mother loved us more than anything but she always acted odd when it came to me and my smaller brother, Lelo. As we got older Lelo started to be more aggressive and incontrollable. Then when our mother passed away I too became more irritated and selfish, but still not as bad as him. Our siblings fear us and I fear him. I thought he we were gonna be okay but...then he attacked me." She was trebling at the memory of her brother rushing at her, bared teeth and blood red eyes full of rage. "My first instinct was to protect myself and I did. I pinned him down and be tumbled around till finally I landed a bone crunching bite to his chest. He struggled for air as I watched him curl into a ball and try to stop the bleeding...but then he just...stopped everything.
storm nodded ''well if i ever meet your other self ill force them to stay in a cave for an hour'' she chuckled then stood up ''these are the colors of my sisters fur'' she said swishing her tail ''and these are the colors my sisters wings were'' she flapped her wings still like a sunset ''you could say we were the moon and sun pups'' she chuckled more happy than before
"That's pretty and really sweet. I was the eldest of my siblings and we all look the same other than the shade of our fur. My and my sister had lighter and brighter colors while my brother had the darker and duller colors. My mother used to tell me and my sister that is was because females were meant to be pretty because of how nice and loving they are. And males are supposed to be that color because they are strong and hardworking." She smiled, looking back at those moments where everything was okay. She missed it all but she knew it was for the best that she was taken away, her family wasn't safe after what happened. "I promise that if my other side does show I will force myself to run far away from you so that I don't hurt you. Because I don't want to."
