The times that nighttime starts vary based on the season. You can check your Cooldowns page to see how long until the time of day will change.

There's also a helpful thread here that lists how long each time of day (dawn, day, dusk, night) last during each season, and a chart that shows what server time corresponds to WD time of day each season. :D
