After the latest news post, where all the dateables were unlocked for all genders, the question arose, if the Lunar Dateables will be kept in the pool after the Lunar Event is over. I asked about it in the comments of the newspost and received this reply from Xylax: I understood this as them telling me, that they will not be in the pool after today and would like to suggest a change for that this year, as especially people who chose NB will have a high chance of having less wolves all in all than the other two genders and even the other two genders will have players with different numbers of wolves in the end, which shouldn't be the case if the activity is the same. In my case for example, I had already finished my daily quest yesterday before the news were posted and so didn't get a dateable wolf for it and today I got Oaken. This means that I will have no chance of getting Wisp and Inve going forward, which means that I will have one to two less dateable wolves than other players who didn't choose NB, even though I have been very active every day of the event and have finished the daily quest every day. The reason that all wolves were unlocked for all genders this year was also to make it more fair and even for all players but like this, the players who chose NB and to a degree also the ones who chose female will be at a disadvantage again, as the chance of getting a Lunar wolf today is also lower than for players who chose male. As stated before, I would be very happy if Wisp and Inve could be kept in the pool this year, so that we can at least try to get the affection decor for all wolves, as we can't get compensated with LB either and it would still be a question of being on a lot and doing all daily quests if we manage to unlock them and get them to 50 affection before the event ends. Support. I also finished my daily quest before the update yesterday and didn't get wisp today, so I'll probably miss out on them otherwise (ironic, since they're the one wolf they showed for the decor test idea in the announcement)

This alongside not getting the two new dates during the storyline quests makes it feel a bit like we're being punished for playing more, which I'm sure isn't the intention but is discouraging.

I'm going to hold off on supporting this, as Xylax's answer is a bit unclear. They could have meant that the Lunar wolves don't show up until the Lunar event starts, then stay for the rest of the February event regardless of when the Lunar event ends.

So I'm holding off on feeling any particular way until we know for sure. But if it is true that we can't unlock Wisp/Inve once the Lunar event ends, that should absolutely be changed. Tons of players didn't get Wisp OR Inve, let alone both.
