He felt s sharp stab inserted into his back, he yapped in surprise at the jabbing stick, "Alright! Thats enough! I'm taking that stick" he growled, now being heard by the other scout near him. He proceeded to move the entrance open and went to grab the stick

"yes!" River slid out as soon as he opened the cave, she stopped, stuck her tongue out mockingly, and ran off.

River turned back to see if anyone was following her. "Idiots" she cackled, she looked at the skys "Hey Ra and the other one, aren't you guys supposed to make them smart and strong?" She joked flicking one ear to the side. She smirked her tail flicked and she trotted off back to the cave

He felt a wave of guilt for being so dumb, opening the entrance for River to escape, only because he was being annoyed by a stupid stick! He sat down with a plop, sending particles of dust flying, as he sat with shame hanging over him
Great Khonsu, how could I be so dumb? he thought bitterly

As River entered the cave. "hm. Smells abandoned, she's smart eh? I'll give her credit"to she thought amused and quite suprised. She caught poisenedcreeks scent she frowned, in disappointment, "Eh, shouldnt get my hopes up I suppose." Her ears flattenee as she started to follow the trail
