Honestly it seems the only time they kill is when they're fucked with, like Robert the doll, from what ah remember in the movies Ah watched he only killed when the parents were like-no, Ah don't want my child to befriend him, Ah mean dolls cause mischief but most of the time Ah learned its when they feel that not everyone in the household accepts them.
