Wolvember

So, I thought it would be fun to have a Wolvember to help people expand on their pack's lore! If you haven't already figured it out, there will be one prompt each day to guide your lore-writing. 

I have come up with a few prompts already, but since this will be a community thing feel free to suggest new ones/different ones!

Now, I know this is kind of disorganized, and 3 and 4 is not technically lore, but I think it would be fun! Anyway, suggestions are welcome. (Suggestions including removing or rewording certain prompts!)

For the collab event on the 26th, I thought it would be cool to have a little gathering. The wolf packs gather once a year to celebrate their packs and tell stories! This will be more of a free write, as your wolves will be telling a story to the other packs. It could be an origin story or anything else! (This part might have to be taken to the rp section, as your wolves could technically be replying to others)

The moon glows brightly in the bright sky, Illuminating the clear spot at the base of the mountains. It’s almost full, but not quite. Wolves slowly trickle into the area. The alphas of the nearby packs had collectively decided on this location a few days earlier. Here, the packs will gather in peace to exchange stories and express their appreciation for the wolves in their lives.

so I was thinking about the collab, and what if we put it on thanksgiving? And have it be like a gathering of sorts where the wolves are celebrating their new packs and appreciating how Tala helped them get situated (if that fits in with your lore!). Now the actual writing piece could be your pack’s origin story, and your founding wolves are sharing it with the other packs. (The gathering portion doesn’t have to be part of your canon lore if you don’t want it to be, not trying to force lore onto anyone!) 

Oh that sounds really cute! I love the ideas of all our wolves hanging out & swapping stories! 

I even think (at least for my lore) that could be a cool canon event; Like once a year travelling to meet with other packs to get important info & also celebrating & telling stories sorta thing! @ least that's prob where I'd go w it-- it'll be cool to see what other ppl do w that prompt too 👀

Some ideas for prompts:

• Battle/war/fight with another pack
• Interaction with a human/human town
• Some sort of contest (maybe with life or death stakes to make it more interesting)
• "Can you keep a secret?"
• Something that involves a mystery (doesn't need to be related to crime, it just needs to be something that is unexplained until the end)
• "We have a problem..."
• An animal that subverts expectations wanders onto your pack's territory
• Dreams
• Visiting another pack
• Best friends
• Falling in love
• The pack's most important tradition
• Stories from the past (an older wolf from your pack tells the rest of the wolves a story (could be exaggerated for dramatic effect!))
• Unrequited love
• Relationship between siblings
• Confronting a fear

If you're still looking for prompts, I'd suggest maybe the other seasons! one for each of spring/summer/fall?

-maybe a healing/herbalist day?

-some more general prompts like discovery, loss, humor, or tension?

It's surprisingly hard to come up w this stuff lol! hope any of those help!
