Earthquakes?

I think varmint's right, it's something to do with mining activities! I just moved my pack's biome to the coniferous forest from the mountains, and when I looked in the raccoon store, almost every background available for sale was different -- since, y'know, the decors you have available to buy depend on your biome, the weather, the season, etc The only ones that didn't change... were the two "abandoned mine" backgrounds!!! Furthermore, those backgrounds weren't present in the beta. We're going to see some kind of mining-related or abandoned-mine-shaft-related event sometime in the next few months, I'd bet my wolves on it. |

Good Theory to be fair, can confirm you can get this event in all 3 of the starter biomes, need to scout more to find out if it's the same everywhere else. |

I've been getting it in the Coniferous Forest a lot, so it's probably an all-biome encounter? [Screenshot] |

I at first thought earthquakes too but actually I agree with others, mining activities seems more likely. We know that LD will be getting events at some stage, I wouldn't be surprised if the first one started 1st Nov and was about mining and possibly other destructive human activities such as logging. Even if that's not right, the encounter definitely means something! Maybe it's mole people :DD |
