Shifter's Path ~ RP! {Closed!}

In this state, Jess often felt more animal than human- which was good and bad. Instinct has gotten her through tough scrapes, but she also was more wild than she would have cared to be. And when a wild squirrel was in the paws of a bear, they are only really thinking one thing- bite. And Jess swiftly took in a mouthful of long black fur and pulled, thrashing and clawing. She may have looked vicious, but she was terrified.

Emily-Rose was in pain, but she only awwwed at the squirrel. “Yo, Saiya! This needs to be a pet! It’s so cute...” She started to gingerly pet Jess, trying to calm her down and not cause her pain. She giggled at the small thing’s attempts to hurt her. “Feisty little thing, I love it...!” She put her face against it and nuzzled it softly.

Saiya's mouth half dropped and she stalked over. "Please don't bite me, I'm trying to help you." she said to the squirrel before detaching it from the bear. "You need to leave it. Dante, come here and don't run off again." she said to the other two before looking at the squirrel. "Please don't bite me. Would you like me to put you on the ground or in a tree?"

Emily-Rose whimpered now. “Awww... I want it back...” She snatched it again, and started to groom the poor thing with a Barbie doll hairbrush. Where she got it from, I don’t know. Oh dear.

With the help of the bear shifter's soothing and plenty of self control, she managed to stop going crazy and stayed rather still, still trembling. The squirrel in her wanted to get away by tooth and claw, but her rational side knew that would never happen with a bear. Besides, it was a shifter and seemed genuinely interested in keeping Jess alive. Of course, she would have to somehow get out of becoming a pet.

Emily-Rose finished up with the small thing and it looked cuter than ever. “What do you guys think? Doesn’t she look precious?” She grinned cutely, she was now having so much fun! “Thank you for being still, little one. Enjoy being the cutest squirrel this side of the forest.” She put it down sweetly, letting it be.

Deciding it was better to at least talk with these people than run like her squirrel self wanted to, she shifted once she had adequate room, stepping a bit farther away from the group and taking a deep breath. Grease-stained fingers ran through messy auburn hair hardly held back in a bun, and her hands still shook a little. "That... Man. Man... I-" Her hazel eyes found Saiya and widened. "You aren't normal I hope?" She glanced about. Then again, even if she was normal, that bear was talking to her and she did not bat an eye.
