Shifter's Path ~ RP! {Closed!}

"If I had known it was the home of a shifter, I wouldn't have. We only needed some food, and if we did manage to get anything and then found you were a shifter, we would've payed you back." Saiya shrugged. "Didn't get anything anyway. He ended up having to go off alone while I went hunting." Dante flattened his ears, tail swishing as he listened to the two speak.

"Never said that, just that I respect shifters more. Especially with Dante's past. And as for a job? Mine doesn't pay well enough to support a pack. A lot of my dogs don't have owners, so it's up to me to take care of them." Saiya replied with a snarl. "The apartment I live in is starting to rot at the edges and I don't have money to fix it. So, sweetheart, don't try tell me what to do if you don't know what I'm already doing."

Ella walked around for a few minutes before sitting on a rock and putting her hands on her knees. " What am I going to do without Erik?" she asked herself quietly

Jess huffed but kept her lips shut. No use arguing with someone who seemed to keep some semblance of order around the place. "You know I fix stuff for a living? Maybe I could do you a favor or two to keep you from stealing to get the money for repairs."

Saiya shrugged one shoulder. "I'll keep away from a few houses of your choice if you help out, I suppose." Dante looked up and Saiya nudged his side with her boot, telling him to keep quiet.

Aria stiffened in the tree above, she ruffled her feathers and preened her wing while listening in on the conversation below. How curious. She thought to herself as she heard the word shifters brought up multiple times. She cocked her head to the side slightly while looking at the shapes of fellow beings below her. They appeared to be in human form, she noticed one nudge another with the glinting shape of a boot. Dante, Erik. She made out a few names before attempting to blend into the shadows once more, forgetting about a branch behind her head she rustled a leaf, knocking it down towards the group below. She felt her heart pounding in her chest as she prepared for the worst to happen if they noticed her.

Dante flicked his ears towards the leaf, and the strange smell. Saiya glared at him as he moved off, clearly annoyed he was going to chase another squirrel or something. The shifter ignored her and clambered up to the branches across from the owl. His amber eyes flicked around the area, waiting for any movement. Dante's long tail wrapped around a branch as he steadied himself, claws coming out to grip the bark.

Aria straightened up as she saw the black cat leap into the branches. She met his eyes, staring at him to judge what would happen next. Blinking slowly she inhaled deeply and fluffed her feathers up to appear much larger to the fluffy cat. Does he see me? She pondered, look at him as he flicked his eyes around for movement. The feeling of helplessness crept over her as she realized she wouldnt be able to get away without alerting the cat, and what ever other animal shifters were below. She cautiously moved her left foot, slowly placing it infront of her right to take a silent step towards the cat. Who are you...? Her brain puzzled and buzzed. And what is going to happen next?
