Honorary-Pup: An adopted pup/in-law, H-P for short.
Den Descriptions
Adolescence Den: All pups, bloodline & non-blood, reside here during adolescence. This helps them establish independence from their parents while also establishing strong bonds with pack members of closer age range.
High Council: Pack members 6 years and older. Younger mates are allowed to reside with their partner, but must leave while the High Council discusses their opinions & decisions on pack matters.
Mid Council: Pack members 3-5 years old. Same exception/rules for younger mates as High Council.
Lead Den: Pack-Parents, heir, and heir's mate.
Young Council: Pack members 1-2 years old. Most are either un-bonded or bonded with a wolf of close age.
Nursery: Pupsitters and mothers with young pups. All pupsitters reside in this den when protecting pups, life-bonded pupsitters return to their mate's den once there are no pups/they are not needed anymore. Un-bonded pupsitters permanently reside in this den until they formally retire from pupsitting.
Sick Den: Wolves with any disease/infection reside here until cured.
Travelers reside in what den corresponds to their age.
