Pack lore

All members are named after nature, according to their pelt colors, either by something associated with that color, or something that is that color. For example first leader is Storm, after their stormy grey coat. the next alpha is decided by the current, they choose who they see as most fit to take their place. Each alpha chooses their own beta.similar to alpha, current position holders pick their apprentices, who shall replace them when they retire.
when a member of the pack passes on, the living members go through a time of mourning, preforming a ritual ceremony as a goodbye to their loved one. The wolf that passed is buried with in the territory, often under trees, or otherwise near places they loved in life.Many packs practice same sex relationships, this pack is one of them. There is no requirement to be with a wolf of the opposite sex. You may seek out whoever your heart yearns for. Love is love among our pack. Who says you must be only male or female, other options do exist. While not all packs accept it, this pack does. Here being your truest self is not only accepted but encouraged. the concept of gods is not unheard fo among wolves. Some packs even have gods within them. This pack worships many gods, they pray for luck while hunting, healthy pups to be born, and many other things they hope the gods will help with. adoption among packs is not uncommon, and this pack is no different. Pups will often be adopted in to and out of the pack. Pups being adopted out are sent with parting gifts, to show they were loved, and will be by their new family as well.
