Cult of the Arcane Hymn

a hoard of wolves eye you carefully as you approach. these wolves are rather friendly, but they take their spirituality seriously. don't linger too long or you may be converted or find yourself unwittingly involved in a ritual. don't worry, they're perfectly harmless...usually.

this pack is led by a ruler, usually a female but rarely a male, who takes a permanent companion (whether romantic or otherwise) based on guidance from an ascension ritual. this companion arguably has more influence because they serve as a connection between the pack and the ruler, who is largely removed from the pack and only appears during certain rituals and when deemed necessary. however, if the companion dares to attempt to usurp the ruler, they will meet a violent end. otherwise, the pack is mostly harmless, if a little weird. besides the ruling pair, a shaman is also important for leading rituals and for healing pack members.
