Crystal Forest Pack
This wolf pack is named after the forest the pack originated in, The Crystal Forest. These wolves prefer to settle down and stay in one place. Although they generally call the Riparian Woodland their home, they enjoy venturing out, exploring new biomes, and perhaps even changing territories every once in a blue moon.
The Crystal Forest Pack is known for its welcoming nature to other wolves outside their pack, and often recruits wolves they like from other packs or lone wolves while exploring. Likewise, this pack allows wolves to leave as they please, particularly adventurous pups and adolescents.
The leader of the pack is chosen at a young age by the current leader. Each puppy born into the pack after the current leader turns seven years old is eligible to compete for leadership. Leaders are chosen not just for their skill and strength, but also for their ability to govern their packmates and to make wise decisions for the good of the pack. Once the current leader passes, the ability to walk the dreamlands transfers to the chosen wolf and they take on the role of Leader.
Hunters are loyal pack members who have chosen to stay with their leader, wherever she or he may go. They are skilled hunters who provide plenty for the pack. They retire at levels 15-20, and become mentors to the young pups in the pack.
Mentors share their knowledge to young pups in the pack. They are retired hunters and scouts, and they enjoy passing on the wisdom they have learned over the years. They make be stern, but they are dedicated to the betterment of the pack, and they know that pups are the future.
The Herbalist is a wolf who appreciates the properties of herbs, flowers, and plants and understands how to craft powerful remedies and tonics to help their packmates with a variety of ailments and wounds. The herbalist is a kind, humble wolf, and packmates respect and enjoy being in their presence.
Scouts are wolves who enjoy exploring! They are sent out to seek out new biomes, and to bring back findings from other areas that may not be readily available in the pack's home territory. They relish the chance to go off on their own and be one with nature, skillfully finding their way through the vast land, discovering even the outermost regions, and then finding their way back home.
Pupsitters are certainly important and well-respected wolves in the pack. They protect and care for the young pups! They are very patient, which is a good quality to have when surrounded by growing puppies!
