Welcome to the Ocmulgee Pack! Nestled under the cool, dark canopy of the mountainous coniferous forest, the pack prides itself on how it keeps the forest strong with what drips from its fur as it passes by. Avid hunters of what lives in the lights of the aurora borealis, they carry a system as old as their founder, where pups are named by their mothers, but upon growing into a full adult and member of the pack, their name is completed to a phrase that describes them as an individual. If you wish to walk with the pack, it is customary to soak your fur and dampen your paws first, lest every step you take not be for the growth of the forest and the betterment of the land.
The pack began in the deciduous forest and riparian woodland, where it grew and gained its traditions, open to any and all outsiders and newcomers under Alpha Rose. Alpha Raven followed in her grandmother's footsteps, but Alpha Dove did not. Near the end of her life, she closed the pack to most outsiders, and her son, Alpha Raccoon, followed suit, being extremely selective and narrowing the pack over time to only himself, his mate, and their immediate family. The lower numbers kept them strong, which was necessary when they had to move north where prey is bigger, more scarce, and almost as deadly as the predators.
