named by the raven crown patriarch, valhalla, those of the inner web are the next closest thing to royalty- they are the most valued members of the web and those of tier three value are immediately allowed to sit in this caste regardless of their use and purpose. they are unlikely to ever be chased away from the group, often times allowed to die of old age rather than be abandoned. in very rare cases a tier two may be allowed to sit in the inner web because of stellar performance

𝐒𝐧𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬
named by the serpent king patriarch, snake smoke, those of the snakes are those who were not born in the privilege of tier three value, but are still useful members of the web and are treated as such. most are allowed to keep their rank and, if they continue to do well, are allowed to live to old age. however, those of this caste are at risk of being relegated to flea status for lackluster performance, useless pups, lack of room, or lack of patience on the queen's end

𝐅𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬
named by the great matriarch of the web, monarch, those of the flea caste are not looked highly upon, though this varies per individual based on why they received a flea status- wolves who lived well in the snake caste but were demoted to flea because of space restrictions are still treated highly. those of this rank are often only used for a single purpose, whether it be a breeding project, pupsitting, sick fodder or otherwise waiting to be bred one more time before they are chased from the web.

𝐌𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬
although at first glance a negative term, it is simply the general word used for those who are for sale. mostly pups, they are kept on the market often until they become adolescents, and if they have not been bought by another pack at that point will be chased from the web. those of high value, such as tier threes or special markings favored by the queen, may be allowed to stay longer and into adulthood until they are sold
