Herba Lupi- Grass Wolves
The soft tendrils of grass and weed tickles your paws as you pad into the large clearing. The grass has been padded down after days of paws treading over it. There was a fallen oak tree against a large boulder, a hollow space at the base. Moss and lichen had grown over the boulder and you now see a black and honey speckled wolf leering down at you as you inspect her home.
Belief System:
-Herba Lupi is very intertwined with the earth and all that it has to offer. The pack believes in few deities (all fake and only for the purpose of roleplay).
Seisal (Seize-Uhl)- The Goddess of the Land. It is said that she is responsible for the waves in the grass, the weeds, the flowers that sprout up, and the length and strength of all these. She represents harmony and beauty and those who worship her have a sense of acceptance that they are one with the circle of life.
Heglanis (Heh-Glah-Ness)- The God of the Skies. He is responsible for the movement of the winter winds and the spring storms. He conducts the falling of leaves in autumn and the cool breeze's in summer. He takes form as a white hawk, soaring through the skies and dealing karma to those who are due. He represents freedom and rebellion. It is said if a pup is born during a windy night they are blesses with such speed as the wind carries. As such, if a pup is born on a stormy night, their temper succeeds them and they have a heart of valor and honor.
Fenereth (Fen-Uh-Reth)- The Goddess of the Hunt. She represents all the living creatures that we hunt and kill. She is the only goddess that takes form along with Heglanis. She appears as a black doe, lurking in the shadows of the forests. She watches quietly for those who kill without question. Much is unknown about this goddess. But occasionally some may feel her presence whilst stalking a rabbit or chasing a doe. It is said that if you feel her presence while littering, your pups are blessed with the hunt.
Aanh (Ah-N)- The God of Dreams. He is a god of mystery and secrecy. He lies within the wolves minds. He feasts on fears and desires. He is the only God that ventures between the realms of good and evil, mortal and immortal, death and life. He is said to rule the Lunar realm. He casts karma into those who truly are dealt it. He is neither good, nor evil. He takes form as a black cloud in the minds of wolves. It is said that if you feel his black cloud looking over you while littering, your pups will not survive. Much is not known about this God but he is due respect for his extensive powers and his vast knowledge.
