Drakar Pack

We are an old pack.

We were here since the beginning, and we will persevere till the end.

Like all old packs, we may fade for decades, and reappear as if from nowhere. Like mythical beasts, we slip from the shadows of imagination itself, never quite here, nor there.

There may be wolves that find you, claiming to be from a place where space itself distorts. They may say that their leader has lived for centuries, and that her old guard is composed of the first wolves. They may see that our pack values new blood, yet allows most young ones to roam free, in search of the glory that the pack had earned a millennia ago.

Heed their words. For the old ones are forever watching.

When new wolves first arrive at Drakar, they would know they were never meant to stay. Almost none of the pups were ever meant to stay, Avalanche claims. The old ones can also choose to leave, resetting their clock and giving them a new chance to live. Sometimes new pups are brought into the fold, to replace the leaving members.

Skorn, the First, the Founder, is the leader of the Drakar wolf pack. She discovered these lands, and these lands claimed her. It is only those of her line that the land has claimed to stay forever, for even their souls may not leave. Other wolves, however, are not welcome, and cannot overstay their welcome.

Avalanche, the Second, the Watchful, is Skorn's lifelong companion. Though these lands are distainful of her, Avalanche will stand her ground. Because of her decision, these lands have tasked her with watching over the wolves, and to warn off any new intruders.
