Bounce Pack
Hello! Welcome to my den!
I'm very happy of having you here so, have a look around if you wish! <3
Pack beliefs & legends
'Pack of Endless Stars', is how Bounce Pack knows their ancestors and the place they are at.
They believe that their dead, those who did right and had a good heart, are guided by the ghost of Bounce Pack's founder to the Endless Meadow, where all their ancestors, wolves run around happily and are able to hunt prey that will never scarce for them.
The Stoneteller and Healer have a special connection with them, and are able to receive visions, omens and prophecies from them. Though, it is also unknown their origin, it is thought that they started after the founder decided to make up some beliefs for the pack to have, and so, just for believing in it, it became real.
They also have their own beliefs of the place where the bad wolves of heart go after their death, and it is known as 'Depths of the Swamp'. It also has another name as 'Swamp of Shadows', though, there is little knowledge about it, except for the small things that had been warned about it to Bounce Pack from their ancestors.
Well, besides the beliefs, they do have their own legends too, and some of them are:
Of course, this aren't all the legends, yet, they are the ones known. What they are about? This is a thing for another time.

Pack Lore?
Well, no one actually knows how this pack was created, more than the mere leader and his most trusted members.
But, why does no one know anything about it?
Well, the pack was kept hidden since it's starts, but there are different rumors, though, none are true.
Some say a male wolf started stealing pups of other packs, already weaned, but young enough to not remember their origins. Some others say that it was a family of wolves traveling for a new home, that decided to stay in it's current territory in the mountains. Other rumors appoint that it's just a normal pack that was never heard of until now, which might be the closest to the truth. Yet, it doesn't have the full details.
Who are really these wolves?
Well, that's a question for another time, but all you must know, is that they don't live in a normal cave, but a deep, large cave at the bottom of the mountain, with tunnels that connect to different caves with special crystals that give illumination to the caves. Bounce Pack is specialized in climbing, jumping and being able to travel smoothly across the biggest darkness. Their eyes have adapted pretty well to the darkness inside the tunnels and caves, and they are prepared for any kind of accident that might occur in the mountains... but, are they really prepared for everything?... that's a thing only time will be able to answer for Bounce Pack...

A New Era
After Bounce Pack's leader, Reese, passed on to the Pack of Endless Stars, a new leader took on his place... This wolf, known as Twisted Leap, hadn't even been part of the pack until he was an adolescent. Reese brought him to the pack in his last days with his packmates, due to an omen that brought him to know Twisted Leap was the one to lead the pack after him.
Twisted Leap's leadership started just a few days after he arrived at the pack, and due to not knowing much of it for Reese not having taught him enough, one of the best hunters who was also very close to Reese, accompanied him during the first days of his leadership. This wolf was named Caw Of A Crow.
Both became good friends, and now, Twisted Leap has changed the way wolves are named here, not anymore as the past one the pack used when it was a 'tribe', but following his own blood, of The Ancient Packs.
Whatever happens next for this pack is in Twisted Leap's paws... will it have an era of happiness... or is it time to endure new hardships?

Pack Roles/Hierarchy
Bounce Pack's hierarchy is based on different basic roles, though, with a more expanded version.
-Stoneteller/Teller of the Pointed Stones: This one is the leader of the pack. The next leader is given a special name since puphood, and when it becomes the pack's leader, it is given that title. For respect, the pack members call the leader Stoneteller (or Teller of the Pointed Stones) and not by their real name. They have a special connection with the Pack of Endless Stars and can receive visions, omens and prophecies from them. They have a special cave for themselves, which has different carvings on the walls and in the back of the cave, there is a white, shining stone, surrounded by small rocks of different colors.
-Healer: A healer is a wolf chosen since puphood to help cure the pack. It needs to learn about herbs and medicine throughout their whole life and they follow some rules of their own too. Healers, just like Stonetellers, have a very strong connection with the Pack of Endless Stars, and they also receive visions, omens and prophecies from them. They usually receive guidance from their ancestors in their way as healers.
-Hunters: Hunters are wolves that are trained to hunt for the pack, as the name says. They help keep the pack fed and follow a special rule that tells them to hunt first for the healer, sick, pups, pupsitters and nursing wolves. Then hunters eat their share along the Stoneteller.
-Protectors: These are wolves chosen to help defend the pack, specially since, even if all wolves can fight, sometimes they aren't able to for having other responsabilities, such as pupsitters helping to get nursing wolves and their pups to a safe place.
-Scouts: Well, this are wolves that every pack must have. They are wolves with special abilities to help discover more things of the territories surrounding Highstones, so they are able to expand their own.
-Travelers: Wolves who are brave enough to leave Highstones and go to undiscovered territories. Travelers are wolves who, as the name says, travel around in search of new experiences to bring back to their home pack... who knows why?
-Pupsitters: These are wolves that, even if they aren't nursing, have decided to help caring for pups. It doesn't look so difficult, right?.... right?!
Well... pups can have a good amount of energy that adults obviously don't, and keeping them away from danger is way more difficult than it seems, so pupsitters are treated with a high respect in Bounce Pack.
-Trainees: Every adolescent is given this role. Since they are adolescents, they aren't able to train with pups anymore, but they can't start doing adult jobs either because of their lack of experience. Trainees usually go with the patrols, or have a specific mentor who teaches them about the role they are becoming and how to perform the job.
-Pups: As the name says, they are pups. They stay in the nursery and inside Bounce Pack's camp, which would be the caves and tunnels inside Highstones, alongside the pupsitters and their mothers (or fathers). When they reach a certain age, they are able to choose what role they want to be as adults (or are chosen, just like healers and stonetellers). Then they start a training made specially for them to learn enough about it.
-Dusk wolves: These are wolves that choose to stop doing their job, to spend their last moons of life in peace before they join their ancestors in the endless meadow.
