Ravnafjell
Deep in a spruce and pine forest you stumble upon a clearing. A camp is set up and wolves are strewn everywhere, in all ages from pups to elderlies. You stop dead in your track, gazing up ona mountain nearby, spotting caves in the cliffside. A river runs serenely nearby.
"''Ey you! Tresspassing, are you?"
You start at the gruff wolf and spot a cream and beige wolf heading towards you, tail raised.
"Sorry, I'll leave. Didn't know there was a pack here," you mumble shyly, tucking your tail inbetween your legs. She shrugs her shoulders and lowers her tail.
"Neh, no need, I just wanted to say it, being a guard and all. The Ravnafjell pack isn't much like others I've met. Follow me," she turns around, assuming you're following. Perplexed you decide to do so. "'Zalea, we've got company," she yells. A brown and red wolf rises, meeting you halfway.
"How wonderful! Welcome to Ravnafjell, stranger. I'm Azalea, Queen of this pack. Please, feel free to stay as long as you like,"
1. Inbreding is prohibited in the Ravnafjell pack. Azalea has seen the consequences of it and will chase any inbred offspring and give the parents a warning. If they continue to inbreed they will be asked to leave or chased, depending on the situation.
2. When the time comes to choose an heiress the King and Queen will do so. They may seek imput from pack mates or present the pack with options for a vote, but it is preferred that they choose themselves. If the leaders die suddenly or in other ways become incapable of making a choice the Elders must find at least 3 options and have the pack vote. The new heiress will choose who she wants to lead beside her, with the help of the current King and Queen or Elders.
4. The King may be stud, ut as he has a lot of responsibilities and task to attend to it's preferred that he's not. It's all up to him and the Queen. The King and Queen may be mates.
3. Hunting parties will bring back what they catch. They may not eat it all imediately if there's not enough food back home. The Royalty, pups, sick wolves and herbalist will be served first before the others.
4. There must be at least two guards in the pack at all times, as there are two different shifts. The daytime shift and the night time. The daytime guard guards the pack and patrolls/scouts the territory. The nighttime guards does the same thing, focusing on the Royalty in particular, and the patrolls are shorter to ensure safety.
These rules may be changed or added to over time.
