Snow Sparks

Deep in the mountains, by a lake and forest cloaked with mist, you see something shimmer in the faint rays of sunlight. It calls you, revealing itself to be a smoky grey stone glittering like crystals where thick blankets of moss haven't covered it. It stretches into a cave that seems to go deep into the rock face it opens into, dark but inviting. You take a step forwards- howls pierce the mountain air, very close. The last thing you see before you run for your life is a wolf with eerie unnatural fur, eyes as white as the moon.
