This is not offical wolvden lore, and is simply fan-made collaboration lore made with jiterbug
In ancient times there was active communication and trade between the different dimensions and realms with individuals who were considered lunar touched. All wolves had some degree of lunar capacity, but like all gifts, it was stronger in some individuals. Even allowing the strongest to move freely between realms .
This was a prosperous time for all realms. As time went on certain individuals in high ranking positions that were closed minded and not as attuned to the dimensions grew afraid of what they could not see nor understand. They became jealous of the wealth that came with the trade between the dimensions and wanted to rule over the free trade. They set bounties out for all individuals who were attuned and especially those who could move between realms.
This caused the lunar touched to go into hiding, moving far from society and slowly over time the gifts were lost. Once a month during the full moon the " Hungry Ghost Moon " the veil between the realms thins down to enable wolves to freely pass back and forth between the realms, but only during dream state..During the Blue Moon the veil dissipates even more for those individuals who are of open mind and with virtues that are acceptable to the spirits.
It is foretold that there will come a time when multiple individuals with strong gifts will be able to strengthen the bonds between realms and guide others to embrace, enhance and train their lunar capacity, with the hopes of one day having free trade again between the realms.

Location-
The pack is inside the lunar realm. Dispite this, their territory still looks as normal as any other rainforest. This is because the territory is contained inside a circle, with the outside being lunar.
How to get there-
In the normal realm, a fog or heavy blue mist will surround you. In the blink of an eye, when the fog disspates, you would find yourself in the lunar realm. This spot is most likely close to the territory and should not be hard to find if you know what your looking for.
This fog resembles the spirits calling out to you, the spirits only choose who they feel worthy to enter, and has taken hold of travelers multiple times.
The fog is strongest when-
-Closer to the rainforest.
-During the lunar event.
-Most commonly takes sleeping wolves.
-When it's night.
The diffrence between visiting in dreams, and physically there-
Due the talent of going over to the lunar realm being lost, most wolves may pass in the dream state. In this state the passage does not take any essence to enter. Lunar essence is very valuable in the lunar world.
To physically pass, you must be invited or trained in lunar essence using. Some wolves are natrually born with weaker or stronger essence, but the way you train and use it is most important. To be invited, another wolf may take you with them. Another way is to be invited by the spirits.
The 2nd leader had began to conspire with somthing dark. Nobody knew for years. Untill the 3rd leader came to rise. He was energetic and a very good leader. But he has a strange mutation, one that none of the wolves had ever seen before. Not only that, he was bright and sparkly, the mutation caused black patches to overlay his body.
Nobody thought much of this. So what if he looked a little different? He was a wonderful leader. Wolves with this same, black mutation had began to join the pack. The leader started to act strange. And by the time the whole pack noticed, he lashed put in an outrage. He claimed he knew the truth. He knew everything. This pack heavily pursued the lunar realm ever since it started, and the leader spoke of the void within.
The leader demanded that everyone should leave, and that nobod would understand like he did. Some wolves begged to stay, he did not let them. Some wolves challenged him, they did not win. Then, a group of with with the same mutation as him claimed to understand, and that they would follow him.
He was heavily reluctant at first, but eventually agreed. On one condition. They must be the best of the best. Only the ones worthy would survive. Slowly the pack went from 53 pack members to 15. In the time, compleatly black wolves showed up. They where welcomed.
The leader had became kind again. He smiled, happy and content with what he has made of his pack. His joy spread through the pack, making the pack flourish with ecstasy. No memeber was ever mean, neither did they fight very often. The only thing that didn't change in the leader. Was his need for best, and did not tolerate wolves that he deemed "flawed". They either pay the price to become "better", or leave.
