Leto's Warriors

The sun sets on a mournful pack as Nyx takes her last breath. Howls ring throughout the territory, echoing off trees in the distance. As the howls slowly die down, a blue wisp suddenly emerges from Nyx's lifeless body, transforming into a ghostly version of the late Queen.
In an echoing voice, she tells the pack how greatly she loved them, and respected them for their loyalty and respect. Floating over to her youngest daughter, she declares to everyone the next Queen.
For the rest of the night, Emerald took a silent vigil over the grave she and her siblings dug for their mother. As the sun rose, she started up her first Vesper Howl, signaling the reign of a new Queen.
