Name Meaning:

The Ravenite Pack was formed under Rosetta and Ghostface. When the two were searching for their new home Rosetta felt hopeless. Every place they saw was not meant for a family. The two searched for days and days but to no avail.

On a stormy night, Rosetta dreamt of a huge black bird dragging her through fog to a bright, beautiful place. She saw hundreds of happy wolves playing with puppies and eating enough food for the whole world. Crackling thunder awoke Rosetta to find a Raven sitting in front of her. It stared at her with a knowing, calm look in its eyes. It squawked at her quietly and flew off.

Rosetta barked out to Ghostface who jumped up and out of sleep quickly. The pair followed the Raven out of the cold forest and across the scorching desert and the dry plains into a beautiful woodland and up the rocky slopes into a large mountain area. It had plenty of caves and sunshine with a lake just down the way. Happiness filled Rosetta and she proclaimed this to be their new home.

The Raven flew up into the sky, disappearing from view. Rosetta let out a soulful howl in which Ghostface joined heartedly.

Rosetta named the pack after the creature who blessed her with a home. Whenever the Alpha needs to make a decision, a Raven always finds its way to them, guiding them and watching over them.
