Egg Group
Group: Egg, more commonly known by its members as Egg Group, started with two wolves - Fork and Hance. Lead Wolf, Fork, left his birth pack due to differences, and never quite got along with his parents or other pack members. He, since birth, has been rebellious and over-imaginative, as well as impulsive. Because of this, Fork decided to make his own destiny, changing his name as well as spawning his own pack - dubbed the Egg Group. He comprised it only of himself and a single friend he made along the way whilst fleeing his born territory, Hance. She was a good balance to his childish and brash ways, being more logical and skilled, despite only being a little older than Fork. At first, he didn't want to be leader and tried to pawn the duties of such a title onto Hance, who informed him after much badgering that if he wanted to start a new pack, he would have to step up. She never wanted a pack in the first place, she didn't understand why Fork couldn't just be a loner as was she, having a similar situation to him in terms of leaving family behind. Neither of them knew what eventually brought Hance to coming around, but pity and a little bit of guilt may have played a role - she wanted to help and was indefinitely smarter than Fork. If something nasty were to happen to him while he was trying to recruit others, she'd feel pretty bad about it. Soon to be recruited were two clashing personalities, Shade and Gale. First was Shade, a much older wolf who had been alone since he could remember, as reluctant to join as Hance, but doing so out of hopes of food and quite honestly, boredom. Shade was curt, never really speaking unless he wanted or needed something, which Fork and Hance understood to be the result of years of being alone and fending for himself. Next to join was Gale, who was maybe too trusting and enthusiastic when it came to joining a brand new clan, rolling overing and devoting himself to the group the second he was told about it. He was reliable, optimistic, and to Fork, a breath of fresh air very different from the usual cynicism of Hance and Shade. Hance does not like Gale, finding his joy for life at best, nauseating and at worst, downright suspicious. As a sneaky wolf herself, Hance might be projecting, seeing his happiness as a manipulative tactic to gain trust. Overall, though mostly going unspoken aside from Gale, the group is rather content having each other in the dreary depths of the forest.
