The Galvlo Aniyvwi (roughly translates to Star People) was formed by two rogue wolves known as Inagei (Forest) and Yona (Bear). Inagei, the pack's leader, was born with the ability to "travel through dreams". What was seen as a sign of insanity and poor mental fortitude, caused Inagei to be banished from her pack. Inagei met Yona, another rogue wolf, along her travels in search of a new home. Together they formed the Galvlo Aniyvwi pack.

Once establishing themselves as a pack, Inagei and Yona both donned new pack names.

All pack leaders of the Galvlo Aniyvwi pack are direct descendants of Inagei that possess the same ability to travel across the "dream realm."

Pack Culture

◆The adornments and decorations worn by the wolves signify rank and other social-related status. The Blue-Jay feather is worn by all with blood-relation to the Lead Wolf lineage. Gunnison Sage-Grouse is usually worn by the Scouts. Hunters adorned with feathers and pelts, etc.

◆Pair-bonded wolves share similar adornments to their partner, along with the female wolf wearing jewelry pierced through the nose.

◆Scars received in battles are worn proudly by the wolves, showing their dedication to protecting and providing for the pack.

◆While status and rank do not carry much weight within the pack in terms of opportunities etc, wolves may choose to undergo a trial to gain higher status. The trial requires leaving the pack and, from there, they are left to fend for themselves and are at the mercy of the spirits. Most never return, however those that do are celebrated and welcomed back into the pack with honor and respect. The wolves that return are Changed and, in turn, given a new name which represents the transformation that the wolf has undergone.

Pack Rules

◆As the Pack is led with its tie to spirits, and gift of Dream Sight is passed through the bloodline, Pack Leaders must only be descendants to the original Leader, Inagei.

◆Inbreeding may not occur within the pack. Inbred wolves may join into the pack, but may not breed unless their COI is 0.

◆Wolves are considered "Elders" at 5 years old, in which they become Mentors, and live out their last few years in peace.

◆Herbalists commune with Spirits and, in exchange for their knowledge, have given up their sight and are always blind (cosmetically).

◆Herbalists are exempt from retirement. They are to serve out their role until 7 years, when their chosen successor then takes over.

◆Mutated pups are blessings.
