When a wolf joins The Kingdom or is born into the pack, the wolf must be visited by the current King/Queen and gifted a name that they are worthy of.
Naming conventions follow 1 of 2 possible schemes:
"[PLANT NAME] [HUMAN SURNAME]"
OR
"[NOUN] The Wolf"
Wolves of the same family inherit surnames like human children do. Some wolves choose to take their mate's surname, but some keep their original one. Hyphenated names are possible, though they're usually reserved for pups from 2 distinct bloodlines.
My bloodlines are intended to be clean, wolves who commit to inbreeding are bannished. We have had mishaps before where 2 wolves had no idea they were related, bred, and had pups that Lichen I could not bare to part with. Inbred puppies are not punished for their existence, but the mothers are to be chased upon discovering the dirty blood.
Wolves who fall behind and cause frequent problems in socialization or hunting are bannished from The Kingdom. Weak, bland, or powerless wolves who are unemployed are usually next in line to be bannished.
