CragPack

Named for the harsh drops and rugged terrain they inhabit in the mountains, CragPack is led by their leader, Speaks To Stars. Every leader, upon taking control of the pack, changes their name, as does their chosen deputy have theirs changed to Watches The Moon. This is to show their dedication to the pack, and their connection to the Pack That Walks The Stars. Their old name is never spoken again, as it is a sign of disrespect.

The Pack That Walks The Stars is made up of the ancestors of the pack, who offer guidance, blessings, and prophecies to the pack. They primarily speak to the leader and healer, but have been known to contact other packmembers on occasion.

Names are chosen based on physical traits and personality, along with a connection to the world around them. Pups, Apprentices, Warriors, and Den Watchers often shorten their names amongst the pack to the first word in their name. The leader and deputy are never referred to with shortened names. All packmembers, excluding the leader and deputy, will never change their name unless the leader deems it necessary or agrees to a packmember's appeal. 

CragPacks openly accepts loners and those who leave behind their old packs, on the condition that they will receive a proper CragPack name.
