The Indomitable

🌲⛰️ Many moons ago, two wolves met in the woods. One the color of stone, singing of her sun-down journey from the mountains to the endless sea. The other a rich brown, well disguised under the roots of a great pine after his own exploration. They began this pack as companions, gathering friends and mates along the way. Through the seasons, our pack has made homes in many forests - under oaks, cedars, and maples. Their time has passed, and I, Dripping Birch, have inherited rule over the pack to guide us through the ages to come. We shall be healthy, knowledgeable, and strong. We will not fall.

Early in the first summer of my rule, a movement arose. A small group of wolves approached me with the proposal that the pack should be limited to she-wolves and their mates. The pack agreed that bachelors shall have two seasons to either pair or leave the pack.

As the sweltering heat of the rainforest keeps on, the pack seeks comfort further north. The cool spray of the river calls us. I shall lead us under the sweet shade of cottonwoods.
