Riverfall Pride

Emerald was silently padding to her den, a small cave at the side of a waterfall. She lived in a mountainous, rainy area with her parents; Rocky (M) and Kit (F). The cave was small, but fit for her small family. A large, thunderous strike from above shook the rainforest... causing the water in the waterfall to pool inside multiple caves. Emerald climbed out swiftly, glaring at the sky above. It was a horrible hurricane; And.... where were her parents? Emerald looked back as the water swiftly rose into a few more caves, including hers. The damage was irreversible. Emerald yelped, panic sinking in. The hurricane swept away trees, rocks.... basically everything she had known in her old home. Her parent were nowhere to be found; Most likely hidden away in a safe cave up the mountain. But they left one crucial thing; their daughter. The world didn't seem to be in Emerald's mercy. She ran off towards safety, climbing up the mountains (not finding her parents). She decided to find a new goal- a life, forgetting about her past and her missing parents. She set off on a journey to find a pack to guide, and most importantly, a family.
