Meropide

You've been wandering through the woods for what feels like hours when you stumble upon a clearing where several wolves are resting in the sun. Just watching them makes you feel calmer, less panicked.
The silence is broken when a large grey wolf approaches you. "Well met, traveler." He growls, though he doesn't sound dangerous. "My name is Wrio, and I welcome to Meropide's territory. You're welcome to stay as long as you mean us no harm. But should you try to attack, we will respond in full."
Once he finished speaking, he takes a step back and soon after several pups are bounding around your paws, excited to meet the new visitor.
