Thrones of Valwald

Towering elms obscure the sun's reaches. Etchings of its brilliant rays scattered about the forest's hollowed grounds. The sounds of afternoon birdsongs and a breeze wafting through every branch, this is the lifeblood.
From the near distance a canid silhouette approaches, a wolf adorned in a helm of brambles and a talon necklace. The wolf was one of renowned stature yet wore a humbled grin with his demeanor apparent in that very moment. Ears perked and attentive to acknowledge your inquisitive gander and his mouth ajar to speak,
"One of the many joy's in life, encountering interesting strangers who wander into these revered lands. Nevertheless, our path's have met and it is an honor."
"My name is Ivar, welcome to the great forest of Valwald."
