Toklat Valley Pack
Pack Lore
The Toklat Valley Pack began with two young wolves, and though the rangers familiar with the area named the pair Denali and Sihásapa, researchers at the nearby facility simply refered to them as TA1001M and TA1002F. The goal of this project was both to diversify the gene pool of the existing wolf population as well as establish a detailed account of the pack's survival.
Even in the rehabilitation center, the wolves were left largely untouched by the team, and lived for a short time in the sanctuary before being moved to their new territory. TA1002F was equipped with a radio tag and released alongside TA1001M in the Toklat Mountains, and researchers were delighted when the pair stayed close to the drop-off site. Not only that, but it was soon discovered that TA1002F was pregnant with her first litter. The pack was watched closely until the birth, when 3 new members of the Toklat Valley Pack arrived.

The Pack
Pregnant with their first litter, two wolves were recently released by rangers as a part of a rehabilitation incentive. The goal was both to diversify the gene pool of the existing wolf population as well as establish a detailed account of the pack's survival. Dubbed A01 & A02 by researchers, the pair currently maintain territory in and around the Toklat mountains. Breeding Pair (Alphas): Denali & Sihásapa |

The Reserve
Nestled in the rocky mountainside north of the pack territory sits a large facility that contains both a wolf sanctuary and a research building. Headed by both researchers and rangers, this close-knit team's goal is to observe, record, and document the pack's wellbeing. Though the team does not wish to interfere with the pack directly, they will step in if there were ever an emergency and place wolves in the rehabilitation center for professional care. |

The Outskirts
To the far east of the Toklat Valley Pack's territory, a river marks the beginning of the Outskirts. Here, lone wolves occasionally wander too close, and are either chased away by the alphas or tolerated from a distance. This is my giveaway and sales den.
