Pack Roles

>-----Spirit-----<
The Spirit leads the Fearless Forest Guardians. They are chosen by the Weeping Willow and are the only one able to communicate with her. Once the Spirit turns five years old, they must consult the Weeping Willow about choosing a heir.

>---Phantom---<
The Phantom is the Spirit's heir and will take on their role once the current Spirit passes away. The Phantom also assists the Spirit in their duties whenever necessary.

>-----Elder-----<
Selected guardians will become Elders once they turn five years old. The Elders are tasked with training Seedlings, guiding Saplings through their apprenticeships, mentoring Devotees, and assisting in determining their graduation.

>-Mother/Father-<
Pack mothers and fathers are tasked with taking care of Seedlings when their parents are away, as well as helping and supporting parents when their pups are still Sprouts and nursing.

>-----Medic-----<
The Medic is the herbalist of the Fearless Forest Guardians, tasked with keeping their pack mates healthy and curing them if they do become sick. With their vast knowledge of herbs and other plants, the Medic works closely together with the Spirit. Future Medics are chosen when they are in their Sapling stage, and they will skip the Devotee stage to instead work together with the current Medic.

>----Guardian----<
Most graduated Devotees are selected for this role. Guardians are highly trusted members of the pack and the primary providers. Guardians are either assigned a hunting team or selected as a scout. During the night, they guard the territory to protect the pack from unwanted intruders.

>----Devotee----<
Once a wolf becomes an adult or once an adult wolf is adopted into the pack, they first take on the role of Devotee. During this time, they have between one and two seasons (2 changes of seasons) to focus on studying about the Weeping Willow, the pack's history, their ceremonies and traditions, and their own future role. They are also assigned many tasks by their Elder, aiming to test their patience and endurance. After two changes of season have passed, their Elder, the Spirit, and the Weeping Willow themselves will discuss whether or not they have proven to be worthy. If they have, they may graduate at the next graduation ceremony.

>-----Sapling-----<
Adolescent wolves are referred to as saplings. From this age they are ready to start their apprenticeships, under the guidance of their Elder. During this time, their future role will be decided on by the Spirit.

>----Seedling----<
Seedlings are children who are still very young but not nursing anymore. They are raised by a Pack Mother or Father, as their birth mother must return to her duty at this stage. Every Seedling is also assigned an Elder, who will train them and remain their mentor throughout their Seedling, Sapling, and Devotee stages.

>-----Sprout-----<
Newborn pups who are still being nursed by their mother are referred to as sprouts.

Pack Rules

I. All adult wolves that were born in or enter the pack must study as a Devotee for six months before they may graduate to become a full pack member.

II. Food must be equally distributed throughout the pack. In the case of a shortage, pups and Elders are to be fed first.

III. All pack members must follow the traditions and participate in ceremonies.

IV. All pack members are to treat each other with equal respect, regardless of age and role.

V. Worship of the Weeping Willow is mandatory, and those who do not follow this rule will be punished by the tree herself.

VI. Wolves from allied packs are treated as if they were your own family.

VII. Interacting with wolves from enemy packs is forbidden, regardless of whether the interactions are positive or negative.
