'You walk into a cave hidden in the mountains, hoping to shelter from the wind, but a low growl from within spooks you. Fur bristling, snarl at the pair of beady eyes looking at you. "Take them to Moon of Night Sky!" A deep voice spoke from behind, another pair of eyes turning to look at you. Moon of Night Sky? What was that? A shrine? Before you get the chance to ask, a wolf without eyes hits a powerful blow to your head, knocking you out.
Once you wake up, you find yourself in a different cave, one with the scent of herbs and flowers. It was the herbalist's cave. A quiet yet strong wolf walks up to you, their orange eyes flashing in the moonlight. "I am Moon of Night Sky" The black wolf suddenly spoke. "I am the leader of this Tribe, what are you doing here, outsider?" The question burns through you, but you find the courage to answer. A quick explanation about how Tala sent you was enough to put a playful spark in Moon of Night Sky's gaze. "When will she learn I can care for myself? Call me Moon, and I'll show you around" At these words, Moon padded out of the cave, into the endless mountains. But, as soon as you hope you'll be alright, every wolf who heard stops. Each of them staring at you with mixed feelings. Fear. Anger. You suddenly remember what Tala had warned you about.
This pack was cursed long ago, by one hope. A hope for a pack. A family. This had affected every wolf that was drawn to the Tribe of Twisted Hope. No creature could hope with the Wrath of Blazes nearby. Thankfully, it was looking to torture elsewhere when you had voiced your hope. No wolf in this Tribe was safe, you realised. They could die any second...'
Only quiet, sneaky, determined or observant wolves can have the highest rank, the rank of leader. This is caused by the Twisted Hope curse, and if a leader was to even utter a hope, the whole pack would suffer...
The Caring Healers
Only friendly or romantic wolves can have the rank of a tribe healer. This is so that no past experiences may affect how a wolf is healed. Every wolf deserves to be treated the same. The only exception is mutations like blindness or deafness. They must be a tribe healer, as they cannot take any other role.
The Twisted
Wolves with the optimistic personality are most likely to hope, and thus, may occasionally be born as 'Twisted' wolves. This is determined by the personality of the parents. If at leased one of them has a friendly personality, the wolf born is cursed. They can not have any roles, yet can still breed.
