It was a cold, crisp night in Deciduous Forest. A four years ago, two young wolves - Ophelia and Ollie, came together for the first time under the midnight sky, marked by a pattern of seven bright stars forming the shape of a dipper. Elder wolves call this constellation, the Big Dipper, hence the title of the pack's name. So, Ophelia found a wolf willing to stick with her thick and thin, and all seems well, right? But, not everything was well.
There was only one issue: Ophelia and Ollie are polar opposites. Wolves always say that opposites attract, but not in this case; Ollie can't stand Ophelia's negative perspective on life. Ophelia finds tolerating Ollie's optimistic attitude difficult, which keeps their bond lacking. This provokes Ophelia to seek out wolves like her - stoic and numb… But what about Ollie? Ophelia also manages to find wolves like him, too.
This blend of aggression, resilience, amicability, and affection shaped the contemporary 'Dipper pack' wolves.
