The stars have always spoken. Never have they been heard. This was before a whisperer came. They gained ideas from gatherings led by the first star and spoke to those who could hear. Afterwards, only a select few could hear the whisperer, the star touched. They looked into a pool full of stars, the pool of speaking stars, to perceive the advice the stars waited centuries to tell. With the whisperer came the watcher. A spirit who makes sure balance is achieved with the living world. Many believe that walking with the stars is only possible by death, but the rare few say otherwise. These are called star hoppers, wolves able to walk with the stars during dreams.

Personal rules

Every time a wolf is born/joins the pack, a D12 is rolled. If the roll results in a 1, the wolf is a star hopper. This means they have a better chance at being a star touched/ruler if the current one is close to death. This is because of their gift to walk with the stars during dreams.
