BREAKWOOD PASS WOODS
"Strange things occur in these woods," some will say, in the typical fashion one might hear from a stranger whilst traveling through unknown territory. "It's an absurd statement," your first thought might be. "Bad luck, a fairy-tail, to ward off strangers. Nothing more."
But anyone who has stepped foot
in this forest can affirm that something definitely feels off; the
uneasy feeling settling in as soon as you enter, the shadows in the
corners of your eyes that you can't identify no matter how quick you
whip your head around to see, a constant chill running down your spine.
The
region was deemed 'Breakwood Pass' when multiple sources claimed to
have heard trees cracking, snapping, and falling somewhere off in the
distance, yet said tree nowhere to be found when they go looking.
The
wolves were always in the region, but they appeared to become more
aggressive and wary as time went on. Perhaps the dam up North breaking
and flooding their old home had set off something inside them. For now,
though, they hole up at Farek's Peak, the highest point of land in
Breakwood Pass and the safest from flooding. They aren't too welcoming
of visitors.
To be sure, Breakwood Pass Woods is a precarious place to step into. Be on your guard.
...And if you hear something that you can't see, don't go looking for it.DEN INFO

CAVES/LOCATIONS
FAREK'S PEAK
The highest point of land in Breakwood Pass Woods; the wolf pack moved here after their previous home was flooded due to the rising river. Rumors say that one who stands at the crest of the peak during the twilight hours is given a unique blessing.
AUTUMNSCALE GROVE
As the name indicates, this cave is well-hidden inside a grove of trees and bushes, masqueraded by a thick herbal and medicinal scent. The sick wolves of the pack will come here to be tended to by the herbalist Crystal Sight and wait out their illnesses.
THE WORN-WAY
The Worn-way is a heavily trodden path through the woods that the hunters and scouts take; a series of crossroads and hidden paths that lead to their various destinations across the woods of Breakwood Pass. It's discreet enough to be safe for them to travel without prying eyes.
OVERPOINT FALLS
A series of caves dug out next to the impressive waterfall of Breakwood Pass. Its sole purpose is commerce and temporary lodging; the pack will come here to trade their various items and goods in return for others of equal value, and travelling wolves are often seen passing through.
CURRENT LEAD
♛SOUL FISHER,"THE OMEN"
Soul Fisher was born under a black moon in winter -- an event that's traditionally regarded as a very bad omen among the wolves of Breakwood Pass. This was emphasized further by Soul Fisher's pelt -- a myriad of black speckles upon a gray coat, mirroring the scene of that night. In spite of this, as Soul Fisher has grown and secured his place as the lead wolf of the pack, most of the doubts of his birth were quelched -- but some wonder if the flooding of the pack's former home is just the beginning of this bad omen coming to true fruition.
