Bark Clan Pack is an ancient pack that has lived in the deciduous forest for many seasons. Icestar - prior Icesmoke - assumed leadership after times of great turmoil, when the pack almost ceased to exist after much infighting.
The old leader had died, and the deputy meant to replace him had disappeared, and Icestar took over out of her own will once she grew tired of watching her packmates fight for power and do nothing over the state of the pack. She chose Darkflame, a good friend, as her first deputy.
