Lycro pack
Long ago, there was a king whom was known as fagir. This king had made a great deal with a neighboring pack who supplied him with a new providence whom many called " the abides marsh". Many claimed that this marsh had incredibly rich land that housed a large number of herbs. So believing these rumors the king sent his scouts and a very wise herbalist to see if this was true. When the party returned however they returned empty handed and the king in his blind fury claimed they had took the herbs for their own sake. The king banished them and their families far away from the territory. The wolves knowing that the king would never venture to the marsh again so they settled there. But due to being exposed to a different ecosystem and conditions, lots of them succumbed to the marsh and were buried in the muddy river banks. But the few who lived had adapted to their new home, with darker pelts of browns and green-grays, night vision that pierced through the murky dark, and webbing between their toes similar to that of a duck's. They began to thrive in the marsh but, their old pack had returned after fagir's death his son took over. His son believed that the old scouts were dead and hadn't gone to live there to begin with. As a result he sent a group of 20 scouts, herbalists, and hunters to survey the area. They made a provisional camp outside of the marsh. The old scouts had seen them and grown frightened, believing that they had come to slay them. In their fear they would separate one of the wolves from the rest and drive them to the deepest part of the marsh and drown them. One by one they were drowned until only five remained alive. These five ran back to their king and claimed that the marshes were inhabitable and infested by vengeful beasts. The bodies of the drowned floated down river to the sea where they were feasted upon by scavengers. Some say that the vengeful ones still roam the marsh waiting for their prey to come back. And yes they are still out there but be not alarmed as they are peaceful beasts. And the wise old wolf with the black fur finished his story as the pups listened intently their gaze unfaltering, as they asked question after question.
