As you venture into the rocky mountains that have a permanent covering of light snow and icy spots, you see activity between boulders and a few evergreen trees. There is a scent of wolves in the area and you simultaneously feel relieved and nervous at the same time. It's not a big problem like a bear or a moose but you're not sure if this pack is friendly or not. Just before deciding to leave, a head pokes around a boulder. Green eyes that seem wise yet young and a gentle smile and bob of the head relax you once again. "Hello," Pearle says, walking out from behind the boulder and wagging her tail slowly. "This is my den, we are friendly but as you can probably guess, we aren't very social. You're welcome to look around but know that there are dangers like landslides, black ice, and bears about." That is all she says before turning around and tending to one of the pups that was bounding around behind her. A little shocked by the abruptness and without an introduction, too, you pause before recovering yourself and moving on.
