Ways of the mountains

Many years ago before the leadership of Estelar the mountains was the home to a tribe of wolves The wolves lived happily in the mountains Their days were bright and warm and the nights were nice and chilly In the spring the wolves enjoyed the smells of flowers and fresh prey In the winter the wolves hunted and admired their home However there was something special about these wolves they believed in a spirit most elders call Zenra she was the spirit they worshipped and praised and in return she brought them good luck prey and health One day 2 pups were born they were brothers Teku and Axelen Teku was a calm and quiet pup while his brother was quite the trouble maker while they were still puppies he was known to play fight a bit too hard and injure most of the pups he played with as they grown they were always close no matter how much disagreements they got into The day of their assessments rolled around Tekus went great! And he passed while Axelen failed it he was devastated and believed that he was cursed as winter progressed he tried over and over to succeed in his assessment but he just didnt he never got the time to talk to hid brother or anyone for that matter he was always training sometimes even forgetting to eat Their father hated the spirit because he always thought that he was more deserving of the worshipping but he kept it secret from the other tribe members he once approached his son in the middle of training session he spoke with him on how he was cursed by the spirit and the only way to break the curse was to destroy it His father led him to a cave filled with ancient writing and crytals on the walls he called him over to one large broken crystal that was glowing brightly this crystal containted the power of a thousand storms but it was not charged Soon enough Axelen met his fathers group of wolves all intrested in the same rebellion the tribe noticed that every single day Axelen and his father would always go out for a few hours and return late at night his father promised that he will train him with the power of the crystal to be better than all of his tribe mates and he blinded by his low self esteem thought that was a great idea The day of the endless winter. The day of the plan Axelens father led the group into the tribes camp and started the attack they scratched every ancient drawing of the spirit destroyed caves killed pups and finnaly in was time for Axelens part in the plan he was to place the crystal in the cave where the spirit was worshipped as he was about to place onto the ground he was tackled from behind by his very brother unfortunately Axelen killed his brother in the battle and placing the crystal down onto the cave the crystal was absorbing the power of the spirit and with her last words she cursed the tribe and all of their blood to the endless merciless winter
