RΓ© Nua Ridge
Deep within the mountains, surrounded by evergreens, sits an ancient castle. With moss crawling up the stones, it is forgotten by mankind.
There lives a wolf pack, following their gods. They call themselves RΓ© Nua Ridge, for the new era of inhabitants.
Gods:
Osasis, the goddess of life, and Rasphine, the goddess of death, are the mothers of the divine litter of the seven gods. There is Cuhlene, the goddess of chaos, Pheaos, the god of order, Esyn, the goddess of nature, Gahairn, the god of the skies, Cemeyr, the god of the flames, Cueane, the goddess of the seas, and Keiyaenne, the god of the hunt. Wolves often will be classed as being under one of nine 'domains", denoting which god has blessed them.
Those who stray from the laws of the lands are said to be drawn in by Cialdyr, the father of Rasphine, who forbid his daughter and her mate from having a litter and bringing the galaxy to exist.
π Osasis Alignment: Gentle in movement and interactions, an Osasis alignment puts a wolf alongside the goddess of life in their soul. They may not be the boldest individual, or maybe they are, but there is a simple care about life that fuels an inner fire. It makes them capable of defying their own expectations when the aspects of life they care about are disturbed.
βοΈ Rasphine Alignment: Elegant and composed, a wolf's alignment with the goddess of death is a sign of resilience. While a death focused alignment may inspire fear in some, it's a good thing to be. They are willing to accept the things that pass, and they don't see an end as a bad thing, rather, just another part of what is and what will be. It makes them much harder to knock down.
π Cuhlene Alignment: Spontaneous but loving, they are aligned with the goddess of chaos. Chaos, like death, is not an inherent evil. Often leaning into luck more than skill, a wolf will make choices that always have a bit of a random chance to them, and openly embrace what can't be prepared for. It means that, while it may surprise them, nothing can truly catch them off guard.
π¦ Pheaos Alignment: Organized and collected, a wolf's alignment with the god of order makes them crave that order, internally and externally. Everything inside of them has sense made of it, because the idea of letting things sit unaddressed unsettles them in some small way. Similarly, they are prepared for everything in their day, but that routine being upset might do them some good.
π² Esyn Alignment: Bold, adventurous, and as wild as the woods, they are hard to predict, but it's one of their best qualities. With a nature goddess's alignment, they've got the same quiet rage a forest boils with, and they have the excitement of a long lost treasure. While they may be loud in some way, inside or out, they are an energy that is necessary for life to thrive.
β Gahairn Alignment: Quiet, wise, and hard to predict, they are aligned to the god of the skies. They could rain down sunshine and goodness, or perhaps tears for a broken pack. Whatever may be going on in their head, it's hard to predict, but everything is needed in doses. They feel, and they feel deeply, though perhaps not everything shows on the surface for them.
𧨠Cemeyr Alignment: Passionate, wild, and willing to fight, a wolf's alignment with the goddess of fire fills them with a blaze that shows in their every choice. They know themselves to be right, and refuse to yield easily. While it can be a dangerous fire that cannot be ignored, it also makes them a leader in times where the darkness of the world creeps in, and a fire is needed to light the way.
π Cueane Alignment: Ever-shifting and flexible, they are aligned with the goddess of the ocean. They can take many shapes and adapt to whatever the circumstances require. They may not be the most strong of forces, but they are persistent, and waves will knock down mountains in the end. Their heart is an ocean, filled with more depth than most anyone will ever know.
π¦ Keiyaenne Alignment: With the excitement of the hunt in a wolf's veins, they are an ambitious one, one aligned with the god of the hunt. They have focus and drive, one that they are envied for in some way. They have the grace of many, moving as one. If it comes down to it, their ambition and natural drive will keep them alive, which is no small blessing.
π Cialdyr Alignment: Wolves aligned with Cialdyr have fallen far from any other alignment, either being too amoral or too neutral to fit any other. In the wilds of the territory, neutrality will get a wolf killed if they're unlucky. A wolf aligned with Cialdyr risks being exiled. Or worse.
Cloak Meanings:
Black Cloak (Cialdyr's Cloak): Cialdyr's Cloak is given to up to two wolves at a time. The first wolf it is given to is known as "The Courier". They will take and dispose of any pups or wolves that are sick or weak. They may choose what that means for them.
Red Cloak (The Osasis Cloak): The Osasis Cloak can only be worn by the true heirs of RΓ© Nua Ridge. It pairs with a stag tiara. There are only two wolves who will wear the cloak and crown: The leader of the pack, and their heir.
Brown Cloak (The Rasphine Cloak): The Rasphine Cloak is to be worn by the mates of the leaders.
Dun Cloak (The Blood Cloak): The Blood Cloak is only to be worn by the children of the leaders.
Green Cloak (The Cloak Of Stars): The Cloak Of Stars is to be worn by the advisors of the pack's leader. These wolves are gifted or experienced in something valuable to the pack, whether it's obvious or not
