The world is full of sentient mythical beings. They exist in a wary truce, together, yet separate. 

Once in a blue moon, different beings come together, and the children of their union are considered abominations. Known as Hybrids, they are cast out of society and live in seclusion. 

* The Uva Ursi Clan *

Brave | Strong| Enduring

The Uva Ursi clan is a clan of mismatched hybrids, all of whom have lycan somewhere in their lineage. The founder of the clan River Moon wanted a place for those like herself to live in peace and free of judgment. 

The Clan lives in a small settlement at the base of a grand mountain, next to an even grander river. They are self-sustaining and peaceful and want only to be left alone. 

New members join once in a while, and all lycan hybrids are welcome with open paws and open hearts. 

The Clan Dynasty 

Founder - River Moon 

A reserved Lycam/Wendigo hybrid. She founded the clan in order to provide other hybrids like herself with a safe and welcoming home. She was known for being a noble, kind, and somewhat aloof creature. She took to leading easily and was very well-loved and respected by all who met her. She could come off as cold and uncaring at times, but never towards her clanmates. 

Second Clan Head - Newthimer 

An outgoing and optimistic Lycan/Peryton hybrid. He was chosen and trained by River Moon as a youngster and grew into a competent and compassionate leader. He took over the leadership role when River Moon passed on, and never once wavered in his desire to provide the best for his clan and all its members. He can be altruistic to the point of self-sacrifice, and often comes off as naïve and over-positive, but prolonged exposure to him tends to erase these notions swiftly. Newt is all in all a kind and honorable leader, beloved by his clan. 

Third Clan head - Mamari

Mamari was ill-prepared for leadership but took up the mantle of clan head when Newthimer fell ill. Under his guidance, the young Lycan/Hellhound learned enough about running the clan to do an admirable job. She's shy and anxious by nature and finds being authoritative hard, so her leadership style veers more towards gentle guidance. She's beloved by the clan, who are prepared to be there for her as she gets her bearings and grows into the amazing leader they all know she will be.
