Rabbit Paw Pack
You stumble through the thickets and brush of the deciduous forest, foliage brushes your pelt as the soft breezes caresses the ends of your whiskers. You come across a clearing, the canopy above allows warm rays of light to peak down at the forest floor. You feel the presence of eyes staring at you, you start to look around and notice a pair of bright olive green eyes appearing from the entrance of what seems like a den dug from the earth.
“Greetings and salutations, my dear.” She spoke in a quiet voice, “Welcome to our abode, make yourself known and enjoy our home.” She stepped forward from her dried bedding, “We call this forest of ours, Feenwärme, you may call it what you desire.”
You start to notice the stir of attention around you, more members of the pack emerging from other hidden dens, some cough as they stretch their bodies, others stare in attempt of intimidation. A male with black fur and a white masked face happily greets you with confidence. “Don’t mind the grumpy badgers that stay here as well. If you need to ask for anything, don’t hesitate! I’ll scrounge around what we have in stores and see if we have it!” His grey eyes glowed with friendliness, “Terribly sorry if we don’t though.“
The she-wolf with bright olive green eyes and a skarn pelt brushed up to the side of the black male, “Emerald Heart,” he spoke for her, “and I’m Raven’s Fear.” He sat on his haunches with his tail limp at his body, no threatening posture, “Enjoy your stay!”
Hare Home - The main den built for wolves that dedicate their roles in the pack to daily routines, for older wolves who’ve earned a soft bed amongst the pack. Pups and adolescents are separated to prevent the little ones from getting in the way and disturbing the whole den from sleep.
Cottontail Tunnels - The den fit for younger wolves that aren't adolescents but give breathing room for the senior wolves. These wolves must be younger than two season circles. These wolves still contribute to the pack unlike adolescents and pups.
Bunny Burrow - A smaller den built for pups and adolescents. Adolescents are not ready to work with the older wolves and pups stay here to avoid getting crushed by their heavier pack-mates.
The Healing Den - The healing den is a small self-built den from some rocks and logs for the herbalist of the pack, they treat sickly wolves and pups here so they do not infect others but can work on their bodies and spirits.
Journey to Tod Und Neu - The den where the sick are quarantined and lay dying, there is little hope for them. Usually a wolf has to be ill for over a year (a Wolvden year) to join the den. It also houses elders for their aching bodies, their assistance usually no longer needed for major roles in the pack.
Feenwärme - The deciduous forest
Winterheim - The mountains
Bloße Winds - The grasslands
Wasserwurzeln - The riparian woodland
Farnkiefern - The coniferous forest
