The Hunt

In the depths of the woods, under the dazzling swirl of the distant stars and the comforting light of two moons, the Hunt stirs…

The howl tells them of the stars that sired them, of the unreachable mysteries they hold, and of the future they might yet attain. Timmorn Yellow-Eyes was their leader, a bold and powerful male whose mind felt the pull of stars and earth alike. Sometimes it tugged him skyward, opening his heart to the starsong and whispering of what may come. At other times he heard only the all-consuming song of Now, and knew nothing beyond the moment. He was a skilled hunter and provided for his pack, but in a way he will always be alien to them.

Now the proudest of his daughters, sired here on the humble ground, has taken on the heavy mantle of leadership. They call her Rahnee, or simply she-wolf, and she leads the hunt in her father's stead with an outsider called Fastfire by her side.

Prophesies:
One day, a golden-eyed wolf of purest black will enter this world, and he will be called Blackfell
