Tribe of Six Eagles
.: Strength :: Vitality :: Courage :: Loyalty :: Honor :: Truth :: Spirit :.
This is the code we live by. It is what keeps us united. And we call it the Code of Seven Feathers. Each code is represented by the feather of a bird sacred to us.
1. Strength: The strength of the pack is the wolf, and the strength of the wolf is the pack. To show mercy is to be the strongest among us. Never show weakness. Represented by the feather of the Eagle for his power and connection to the Great Spirit.
2. Vitality: Bring the young your teachings. The lifeblood of the pack is kept alive through stories of legend and tales of old. Life cannot continue without the wisdom of the past. Represented by the feather of the Mockingbird for her intelligence and ability to teach.
3. Courage: Fight for your loved ones, fight for your pack. Protect them from harm and guide them to safety, even at the cost of your life. Represented by the feather of the Hawk for his courage and protection.
4. Loyalty: The pack is your home. It is the one place you will be loved and cared for. Always put your packmates first. Represented by the feather of the Meadowlark for her friendship and loyalty.
5. Honor: Respect your elders and the world around you. Always treat others with the kind of wellness you would want for yourself, as life is a privilage and should be treated as such. With honor comes pride, but always stay humble. Represented by the feather of the Condor for his virtues of wisdom, justice, goodness and leadership.
6. Truth: Always speak the truth, only the truth, and nothing but the truth. The truth can hurt, but to lie hurts worse. Represented by the feather of the Chickadee for his truthfullness and knowledge.
7. Spirit: The ancestors of our past watch over us, always. They guide us through rough times and show us the way to peace, through signs of warnings and omens. Listen closely, because sometimes they whisper. Represented by the feather of the Owl for his association with ghosts and companionship with the gods of death.
