Backstory:
It was cold, snowy and lonely night. The bright moonlight showing only a singular path. Moondust was panting slightly after travelling such a distant. She was fleeing her disease ridden pack after realizing there was more dead wolves then alive. After finally exhausted she laid down for a rest. In her sleep the moon approached and showed her the life she was going to have and the great pack she was going to lead. Because of this dream Moondust decided to name her new pack the Silver Moon Rising Pack.

Religion:
The Silver Moon Rising Pack believe deeply in life and death and how there must be life to have death and there must be death to have life. When a wolf passes it is customary for their burial to at night in order for their spirit to be taken to the afterlife. It is believed that the moon takes the wolves spirit and protects them until they make it to the afterlife and collects lost souls that roam the earth. When a lead wolf dies, the beta must leave the pack until they can sleep under a full moon, which they will share a dream with the her spirit and earn the Alpha title. When a new puppy or wolf has joined the pack, they must bathe in shallow water under a new moon to represent a new life and a new member of the pack. The sun represents life and when a wolf gets pregnant it is seen as a blessing. The sun also is known to control the weather and is said to be the more emotional out of the two sisters. While the moon is more calm and collected, the sun is more rash and forward.

VALUES

The Rising Moon Pack have a specialized hunting tactic. Because of a glint on their coats it is easier for them to camouflage at night and in darker areas. This makes it easier to catch prey of guard and have given them the famous name "Night Stalkers". While from the outside they can be seen as more docile and wary of stranger, they are actually quite welcoming and willing to help others in need. However if a wolf is displaying aggressive behaviour they are not afraid to defend themselves and their territory. Puppies always come first which means they are the highest priority if the pack is ever attacked. If any rules are broken the punishment is decided by the Alpha of the pack, and if the Alpha is not available then the Beta would be the one in charge. When it comes to more extreme rules being broken a wolf can be downgraded from their current rank or even exiled from the pack. Smaller rules being broken will usually be punished by a wolf skipping a days worth of meals or being the last to eat

HIERARCHY

Alpha: The alpha is the highest rank of the pack. They make all the decisions of the pack and are in charge of making sure every member of their pack is clean, healthy, happy and full and are fully responsible for everything that happens in the pack. This title is only ever given to the current beta of the pack once the Alpha passes.
Beta: The beta is second command in the pack and is the wolf chosen by the Alpha to take their place. The beta is usually a delta before chosen but they can also be an omega if the alpha wishes. The bet keeps their job from before they were a beta until they become Alpha.
Delta: The delta of the pack are most of the members and usually fulfill all the jobs of the pack. Hunters, Scouts and the Herbalists are all part of the delta class.
Omega: The omegas are the last rank in the pack. These wolves are usually wolves that joined the pack and were not born into it or have been degraded from their previous ranks. This is the lowest rank that a wolf can get which is why most wolves are put into this rank as punishment. These wolves do all the things that other wolves don't want to. Pupsitters are part of this rank and wolves that do not have a job. Omegas must clean and feed the elders of the pack, they must care for the puppies while the parents are hunting or scouting and must eat after all the other ranks.


When a puppy is born they are in the rank of their mother. Alpha and Beta puppies are automatically put into the delta rank as these two ranks are only obtainable. Pups can go up or down in ranks depending on their skills and abilities. A lazier pup might be an omega while a driven pup might become a delta, even if the lazy pup was born into the delta rank and the driven pup was born in the omega rank.
