The Cypress Grove Rehabilitation Project
The red wolf is the world's most endangered wolf species, with less than twenty individuals surviving in the wild. It is for this reason that the Cypress Grove Rehabilitation Project was formed. Now, in the heart of the Francis Marion National Forest in South Carolina, a pack of red wolves is being closely monitored and cultivated in order to save these beautiful animals. The current pack is lead by the domestic-borne Swamp Fox and Heron. The project heads have slowly been introducing other potential mates and lineages into the forest in order to prevent bottlenecking. Please cast your votes to name the next litter at cgrp.org, where you can learn more about the red wolf and the Cypress Grove pack.
