Wandering Currents
Today you have found yourself in the grasslands. The hills rolled endlessly, with the wind blowing gently over each one. Your nose was filled with various scents of wolves, growing stronger by the pawstep. You moved with purpose- you wanted to reach your destination as quickly as possible. If you remembered the directions correctly.... just over this hill- bingo.
Before you was a collection of figures, various sizes and colors, with the buzz of conversation in the air.
The Currents.
You carefully made your way downward, making your arrival known to the pack. The area was messy, in a lived-in type of way. These wolves were comfortable where they were, which was ironic. This pack was infamous for constantly moving.
A golden wolfess approached you. "Welcome," as she starts, you notice the crown of tansy upon her head, assuming this was the resident herbalist. "The leader is near the tunnels." She jerks her head towards the group.
Straight to the point.
You thank her and continue onward. When you're at the entrance, you hear a voice lecturing the adolescents.
"When the time comes for the Tidal Shift, you must-- what're you looking at now?" This wolf turned, expression changing from irate to surprised. "Ah. A visitor. Welcome! My name is Cypress and I lead the Currents. What brings you here?"
You state that you are just curious and wanted to pay a friendly visit.
"Well, I suppose that's common here. Stay as long as you need- wolves come and go just like the ocean waves."
