Pack Ranks
Jarls-Leader
The role that's for only the leader of the pack. This role consist of the decision making. Anything that happens in the pack has to come to the Jarl first.
Freyja/Freyr- Leaders mate
Is the lady or lord of the pack. This role only comes to those who are mates with the current Jarl. With this role there's no decisions to make. This is just for titles sake. A wolf can be a Freyja/Freyr and have another ranking within the pack. Example: Freyja/Freyr who is also within a hunting party. Making them a Marauder
Vísi - Heir
This is the rank for the pup who is going to become the next Alpha. They have to be from the bloodline of the current Alpha. They are treated with royalty and will be made to trained in every stat to make sure they are ready to become Alpha. The Vísi can also have another ranking for example if a Vísi is in a hunting party or they are a scout they would also have the rank Marauder or Speja
Hersir-Beta
This role is the second in command. The beta if you will. Hersir will be the ones the jarls turns to for advice on certain situations. They are also the ones who deligate hunting parties and send the Speja out. They will also be the ones to take the jarls place if they so happen to pass away without a heir. They are essentially the Jarls right hand man. They like the Freyr/Freya can have this title alone with another one
Example:a Hersir who is a hunter will also be named a Marauder.
Speja-Scout
This role if for the watchers of the area. These wolves are sent out to find the best hunting locations. To gather information on the surrounding packs. They are the scouts of the area. They know the quickest routes, and can easily move through unfamiliar territory. They Jarl and Merkis turn to these wolves if they need any information.
Aesir-Best hunter
This title if given to the best of the best. Of a hunting party. This title can only be given by the Jarl themselves, and only after proving oneself. Normal by bring down a large prey animal. (normally given to the finishers in each hunting party)
Marauder-Warriors
This is the rank all warriors have, but only once they have been put into their own hunting party. They can move up in rank as long as they prove themselves worthy
Völva-Healer
This title is given to the wolf that stays in camp and watches over the others. The one that has the knowledge of herbs, and can speak to the ancestors. Völva sometimes have visions given to them by the divine and the ancestors of the pack. The Jarl looks to this wolf if they have had a weird vision to help interpret it and figure out what needs to be done. Only one Völva per pack. Though they can take on a Drang to teach them their ways for when the current Völva passes
fóstra/fóstri-Pupsitter
This role is given to wolves who have a knack for watching and playing with pups. They stay in camp or take the pups out for training.
Folc-Omega
A role that is normally called omega. Most think this rank is a joke, wolves are just as essential as the rest of the ranks. This rank is for wolves that aren't skilled in fighting or knowledgeable in herbs or pup watching
Dreng-Young
This is the title given to the packs young. The ones to young to be able to fight, or go out and hunt. The only time a Dreng can leave the camp is if they have a warrior with them. Most of them are just developing their skills and haven't yet been placed yet. There is a rare occasion where the Völva will pick a Drang to become their heir. Given they have seen a sign that they are to be next.
alsnotr - Elder
This is a title given to those who have served the pack and have retired. They spend most of their time telling stories to the Dreng's and giving advice to the leader when asked.

Jarl

Mánadagr-Monday
The name Monday is related to the moon. The Latin name for moon is 'Luna', and in French Monday is still called 'Lundí'.
In the Nordic areas, the moon was called "Mani", and in time Mánadagr became Monday.
Tysdagr-Tuesday
Mars is a god of war, and so is the Nordic god 'Tyr' or 'Tír'.
It is Týr who has given his name to Tuesday.
In Norse mythology, Týr is one of the Aesir. He is primarily known as the god of justice and war, but is also described as wise and brave.
Óðinsdagr-Wensday
Odin can be compared to the Roman god Mercury, so in the Nordic tradition Odin (also known as 'Woden') gave his name to Wednesday.
Þórsdagr-Thursday
Thor is reminiscent of Jupiter, as they both deal with lightning and thunder. So this day of the week became Thursday.
Frjádagr-Friday
Venus is the goddess of love, and so is Frigg (and maybe also Freya, as they may have originally been the same goddess). Frígg gave the name to Friday.
Laugardag–Saturday
Most inexplicable among the Old Norse day-names is laugardagr. 'Laug' mean bath or hot water and 'dagr' means day. So you can translate the Nordic word for Saturday into 'the day of the hot water' or 'bathing dag'
Sunnudagr-Sunday
Sól is a goddess in Norse mythology. 'Sol' means Sun. Over time, the day of the sun became Sunday.
